Staff Flash Mob

St Clement Danes School staff surpassed themselves in December with their annual Christmas Flash Mob. To the delight of students, assembly was taken by a stella cast dancing a number from Riverdance, with Dr Valentine performing alongside her colleagues. Rumour has it that one Deputy Head required treatment from matron having failed to warm up properly, but otherwise the cast were unscarred! This has become an annual tradition with previous highlights including last year’s Frozen dance to ‘Let it go’ and a Gangnam dance staged as part of a fictional fire practice in 2012.

This is part of a week of charity events run by the Sixth Form at the school. This year, they are trying to beat the £13000 raised last year in two days for local, national and international charities and have done a fantastic job of entertaining staff and students with numerous events throughout the week.

Teachers commended for transforming Design & Technology education

We were delighted to read that our Design and Technology teachers, Miss Yalley and Mr Hadley were featured in the Design and Technology publication.  The article discusses the transformation of the Design & Technology (D&T) department at St. Clement Danes School over the past five years.
