At the end of the best ever season for athletics at St Clement Danes, students headed to the County League Finals at Dacorum Athletics Track, Jarman Park, Hemel Hempstead on Tuesday 5th July. Three out of the four teams had already topped their Area League earlier in the term and Tuesday saw the students battling it out against the very best schools in Hertfordshire. The Under 14 Girls and Under 14 Boys teams were crowned County League Final winners and the Under 16 Girls were only narrowly beaten into second place. The Under 16 Boys also finished strongly, placing as the sixth best team in Hertfordshire.

Congratulations to all the teams on their well-deserved success and to all the individual students who have performed consistently well throughout a long and gruelling season!

We were delighted to read that our Design and Technology teachers, Miss Yalley and Mr Hadley were featured in the Design and Technology publication.
