Not White Noise go through to finals of Battle of the Bands

Â鶹ÊÓƵ band “NOT White Noise”, along with 12 other local bands, have been selected for the finals of the Buckinghamshire Battle of the Bands Competition which will be held at the Town Hall, Wycombe Swan, High Wycombe at 6pm on Saturday 3rd March."Not White Noise" is a 4 piece rock band comprising of students  Gaetan Buisson (Lead guitar and vocals), brother Max (Drums), Daisy Rutter (Rhythm guitar, vocals and keyboard) and her brother Henry (Bass and keyboard). 

Prizes include a two day live recording session at Bucks New University with an engineer, with the track/s recorded in the sessions being put out by Man in the Moon Records and distributed via Warners ADA.

The judging panel consists of industry professionals such as Lohan Presencer, CEO Ministry of Sound, Beth Claridge from Man in the Moon Records, James Monteith, Guitarist from TesseracT and Director at Hold Tight! PR, and Paul Guenault, Director for BLTM. The evening will include a special performance by ‘The Lagan’ – a Celtic/Folk/Punk band who have played festivals around the UK and across Europe.

We were delighted to read that our Design and Technology teachers, Miss Yalley and Mr Hadley were featured in the Design and Technology publication.  The article discusses the transformation of the Design & Technology (D&T) department at St. Clement Danes School over the past five years. Encouraged teamwork and prototyping to improve engagement. Use of AI & Technology Introduced cloud-based tools to make learning more accessible. Leveraged AI for idea development and communication. Professional Development & Industry Links Participating in the Teachers in Residence program to gain industry insights. Adopted industry models like the Double Diamond Design Process and Scrum-based project sprints to enhance student learning.
