30th AugustStudents attend "Girls into Maths" Workshop at Oxford University
Maths students and staff travelled to Oxford yesterday to attend a 'Girls into Maths' conference entitled “It all adds up”, and had an opportunity to listen to inspirational speakers and participate in a range of workshops. Dr Holly Krieger presented the first talk on Prime Numbers, and the final talk was given by Anne-Marie Imafidon, who was awarded an MBE in the 2017 New Years Honours for services to young women and STEM sectors.
